To give a new and developmental experience to the young people taking part and to undergo the experience of a life time.


To plan and deliver education and vocational training, and support the ongoing work for the street children at Ashalayam.


To develop international links between the UK and India;


  1. Teaching and coaching in Calcutta schools.

  2. Sharing good teaching and learning strategies with teaching colleagues.


To develop understanding between young people of different cultural backgrounds and improve racial harmony in South Dorset.


To grow as individuals develop key and leadership skills to feed back into our community.


To donate at least £2000 for the Ashalayam Street Children Project.


To develop opportunities for global community service and citizenship for members of the Wey Valley School.


To develop a  true understanding of Indian life and culture.

To transport and deliver medical supplies and inoculations, as well as teaching and sporting materials.
