“Pupils spice up the town centre” August 10 2007
“Wey Valley pupils have brought some of the spice of India into Weymouth town centre by collecting for their Passage to India trip”
“ The project by the Weymouth school has been fundraising for the street children of Calcutta, India, and is looking to raise £24,000 to send 16 students and six adults out to the area”
“Weymouth Hi-Fi shop manager Mark Probin is a former pupil of Wey Valley School and donated a stereo as a prize in a raffle.”
He said “I wish I had been given an opportunity like this when I was at school as I would have jumped at the chance.”
“These days there’s so much trouble around and it’s really good to see the kids giving themselves a challenge.”

Weymouth Hi Fi August 7 2007
I am delighted to announce that Weymouth Hi Fi have kindly donated a Panasonic Hi Fi system to our fundraising cause.
Mark Probin an ex Weyvalley student will be presenting us with the donation at our forth coming bucket collection and entertainment days at 11 am on Wednesday. The Echo will be there to photograph the hand-over as it happens. It’s a great donation for which we are extremely grateful to Mark and all at Weymouth Hi Fi. Thanks a million.
